A four day tour, based out of Perth, this trip goes in depth into the original mining stories and areas of Western Australia's speculative golden past. We even take a metyal detector so you can try your own luck at prospecting!
Depart Perth, heading North to Payne's Find, via Dailwallinu. Remnants of gold mining history are evident in discarded mine shafts, the museum and heritage walk trails.
Overnight at Kirkalocka Station.
We continue north to Meekatharra, pausing to explore the historic towns of Mt Magnet and Cue.
Travelling on, we follow the heritage trail in the picturesque town of Sandstone, where we overnight.
We spend the morning exploring Sandstone before again crossing to Mt Magnet, where we will focus on some highlights that we missed on the way through. Onto Yalgoo, another sleepy gold town, and the unique Joker's Tunnel.

A chance to explore some of the stunning natural features of Mellanbye Station before making our way through the wheatbelt towns of Morawa, Carnamah and Moora, before concluding our tour back in Perth.
