Our overnight is at a Murchison working station where we appreciate some wonderful outback history and hospitality.
We travel via the gold mining towns of Mt Magnet, with the fascinating museum, and Cue, pausing to take in the historic ghost towns of Big Bell and Day Dawn before overnight in the area.
We make our way to Karijini National Park where we set up our overnight camp and enjoy an afternoon swim experience at Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool.
Traveling through Karijini National Park we experience the stunning Hamersley Gorge. Onto Cheela Plains Station for our two night stay.
Today we spend a relaxed day exploring the gorges and sights of the area.
Touring the Ashburton River and through the stunning ranges we make our way to Mt Augustus.
Today we spend exploring the Mt Augustus Nationa; Park, with the opportunity to climb to the top for the top.
Leaving the imposing monolith of Mt Augustus we head to the coastal Carnarvon.
Experience the world famous Carnarvon Space Museum. From there a picturesque drive through some of the wildflower country before overnighting at Mellenbye Station.
Travelling through the wheatbelt areas we make our way back to Perth.
